move 1 and 2
Since the first move reappropriated the podium lvls that were origninally the open private space for the residents of the towers we thought that since we removed this space we needed to replace these spaces.
We created a multi-level carpark with the rooftop lvl becoming the private open space for the residents. The connecting bridges will be private access only. Along with connecting the residents to the new public space the bridge creates a new access point for residents to access carparking.
the next move will be to connect the public podium lvls with the ground lvl as well as connecting the other residential towers to the new private space and car park.

Possible project names
- Project chess
- iterated chesu
- chesu sansui
- single play
- checkmate
Game rules..
- Kings- are able to be altered but must be kept.
- Queens - can be altered the most allowing for interactions between different sections of the site. Queen pieces/areas can be removed replaced changed around however the player/designer feels like
- Bishop - key aspect that affect the site. Can be altered but cannot be removed from the site.
- Knight - similar to the queen can be altered for interactions between different sections of the site. Knight pieces/ areas are moveable and can be positioned around the site unlike queens which are fixed areas.
- Rook - the rook is also a key aspect of site but must be located near the king to provide *protection* for the king
- Pawn - the building blocks of the site. can be anything from materials, furniture, water, details, etc. can replace one of the other pieces as the game progresses if it become more important than the original piece.
- On the board (docklands site) there are two sets of pieces.
- Each set has one of each main piece and 5 pawns.
- Main pieces are not necessary a single piece. The piece might be in parts. E.g. the piece is entertainment. There are multiple areas of entertainment around the site but is counted as one piece.
- The two sets of pieces might have identical pieces as such the players have to move the piece to both their advantage.
There is one player/group of players that plays both sides and tries to come to a result where both sets of pieces keep their king.
Project description.
*project name* is about the interactions of the different pieces within the site and the strategies that the individual games played out through modelling games of chess using the site as a game board created strategies to redesign the site and its interactions. The different iterations created through the modelling games create different relations between key features of the site which enable different strategies and understandings of the relations between these features. This allows for the creation of our design that takes into account different ways of viewing the features of the site.
